Spot clean daily, replacing soiled substrate with a small amount of fresh material. Complete substrate changes should be carried out every eight weeks or sooner if heavily soiled. Avoid over-wetting and exposure to electrical equipment. For night-time heating, use wall- or ceiling-mounted heat mats, hot rocks, or ceramic heaters, and limit substrate depth if using under-tank heat mats to prevent overheating.
