Suitable for dogs, cats, birds and other small animals, the antiseptic ointment contains both Calendula and Aloe Vera. The Calendula works to sooth and support wound healing, whilst the Aloe Vera helps to calm and ease irritation caused by insect bites and other causes of itching or pain. Supplied in a handy 30ml tube, the ointment is also proven to be effective in easing scaly face and scaly leg in birds. When treating such irritation, the affected area should be gently cleaned and then the ointment should be applied once a day for six days. When it comes to wound healing or the treatment of other skin irritations, fur or feathers should be carefully cut away from the area in question and then the area should be gently cleaned.
