How to use Preparation: Vacuum the carpet or upholstery thoroughly to remove loose dry soil. Dilution (Portable Machines): Add 10ml to 15ml of Extraclean per litre of warm or hot water into the machine’s solution tank. Dilution (Truck-mount Units): Create a metering concentrate by mixing 1 litre of Extraclean with 4 litres of water. Set the flow meter to 2–4 GPH. Pre-testing: Always test the diluted solution on an inconspicuous area for colourfastness before proceeding. Pre-treatment (optional): For heavily soiled areas or stubborn stains, pre-spray with a product like Prochem Prespray Gold. Extraction: Using a machine wand or hand tool, clean the surface with overlapping strokes. Drying: Allow the cleaned area to dry completely.
