Prochem Fiberdri (C812) Prochem Fiberdri (C812) is a dry carpet cleaning compound designed to absorb soil and moisture from carpets and rugs, allowing them to be used almost immediately after cleaning. It is a biodegradable, WoolSafe-approved product suitable for both general cleaning and spot absorption. Fragrance: Has a floral scent. pH: Maintains an optimal pH level of 6, ensuring compatibility with various carpet types. Applications: Dry cleaning carpets and rugs. Spill and stain absorption. Effective on wool and stain-resistant nylon fabrics. Usage: Designed for use with brush applicators or specific Prochem dry cleaning machines, such as the PB14E, 380DCS, and Fiberdri TM4. Coverage: Approximately 1 kilo covers 15 square metres, depending on the carpet’s density and level of soiling. General cleaning procedure Preparation: Thoroughly vacuum the area to remove loose dirt and dust. Pre-treat any heavily soiled spots or stains with an appropriate spot remover or pre-spray like Prochem B107 Prespray Gold . Application: Apply the Fiberdri compound by hand or with an applicator at a rate of roughly 1kg per 15m². Agitation and activation: Use a Prochem Fiberdri machine or brush applicator to work the compound into the carpet pile. Allow it to sit for 15 to 30 minutes to absorb soil and moisture. Removal: Vacuum the carpet thoroughly to remove the soiled compound. Finishing: For the final touch, brush the carpet pile to realign the fibres. Spill absorption procedure Apply the Fiberdri compound directly onto the affected area. Allow it to activate for 10 to 15 minutes. Brush or vacuum the soiled compound away. If the stain persists, treat it with a suitable stain remover and repeat the process.
